Max is Constantly Making Me Laugh

I love toddler logic; it is just too funny to listen to what comes out of their mouths, and some of it is just sweet. Every day, he says and does at least 10 things that make me think, "I need to write this down!", and of course, I get caught up in something else, but here are a few cute examples from the past couple of weeks:

Charly: "Are you tired, Max?"
Max: "No, I'm fruity"

"Mommy, you're beautiful"

"I love your shoes!" when he saw a pair I haven't worn in awhile.

"Mommy, you have nice hair". Of course, the next day, I came down in the morning, still in my pajamas, with bed head, and he said, "Mommy's hair needs fixed". Laughing, I ran my hands through it, and said, "Doesn't it look nice today?" He looked at it again, and said, "No, I fix it and make it beautiful" and proceeded to have me sit on a stool in front of his chair so he could "fix" it, which meant a few minutes of a hair massage. I love those! He kept playing with it and stepping back to look at his work. When I asked him if I was beautiful yet, he would say "No, not yet" and keep playing with it until he was satisfied:)

One of his current obsessions is anything to do with firetrucks and firemen. We were reading one of his books on this subject, and I asked him if he would like to be a firefighter when he grew up. Without missing a beat, he said, "No, I want to be a firetruck!"

He likes to have me kiss his boo boos. It's getting quite hard to bend all the way down to kiss some of them, so I will just kiss my hand and then touch the boo boo; this works some of the time, but usually he says, "No, kiss with your mouth". Today, while out for a walk, he tripped and wanted me to kiss both of his knees. When I told him I couldn't reach them, he cupped both of his hands around my mouth and said, "I have your kisses" and put them on his knees.

Me: "Are you being a silly?"
Max: "No, I'm being a Max"

When walking or driving past every Halloween decoration, "Oh, Mommy, that scares me!", before laughing.

I'll think of a million more examples tomorrow!
