Max is such a boy in so many of the traditional ways. He is drawn to dirt and mud puddles like his life depends on him getting as dirty as possible in the shortest amount of time. He loves to "pet" bugs which often results in their demise and hates any form of hygiene (brushing his teeth, trimming his nails, getting his hair cut) other than a bath, which I think he only tolerates because it means he can get REALLY wet in, as he calls the tub, his pond.
One of his new boy fascinations is burping and farting. He will giggle so long after each one and tries over and over to burp on command, which usually leads to him spitting quite a bit while saying "Burp!" One thing he loves more than hearing himself fart is hearing others. Whoever the culprit is, he will run up to them, and anyone else that is around and yell, "I heard Daddy fart!" like it is the best thing in the world. It's not as if Charly and Alex have taught him this behavior at all-I swear it's just in his boy DNA.
I keep joking with Charly our little girl will be so calm and clean, but he just laughs in my face.
